Take the next step.  If you feel you could benefit from therapy then it's now time to take the next step.

Step 1 - make contact

You can contact me personally either by phone on 0 771 771 8050 or using the contact form. Alternatively I am happy to accept a referral from your GP.

Step 2 - attend initial consultation

After you have made contact I will invite you to meet up with me for a face to face initial consultation. The initial consultation provides an opportunity for me to learn about your difficulties, background and needs and lasts two hours in length.

During your consultation we will explore what your difficulties might be related to and think about whether therapy is likely to be helpful to you. The initial consultation also offers you an experience of how it would feel to work with me in psychoanalytic therapy and gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you might have about the process of therapy and recommended length of therapy.

Step 3 - commit to therapy

If having had the initial consultation we both feel therapy is likely to be of use to you then we will make a commitment to engage in therapy. Therapy sessions are weekly and are sixty minutes in length. It is part of my practice to offer a review session after the eighth session so that we can discuss whether you feel you are benefitting from the work.

The initial consultation is £150, which is comprised of a two hour session.
On-going therapy sessions are £70 per one hour session.

Low cost fees are available on a limited basis and dependent on the client's situation and frequency of sessions needed.

The initial consultation fee is payable at the end of the consultation. If you decide to engage in therapy you will be invoiced at the end of the month and can pay your account either by cheque or bank transfer.
